Wouldn’t you like to see a Democrat contesting every race on the local ballot in Stephenson County? That is exactly what the Stephenson County Democratic Party wants -- and we are making significant progress toward that goal!
We are a revitalized and energetic organization. Now we are accomplishing things locally instead of just complaining about them. I know you’ve noticed recent articles and comments in the Journal-Standard and on Facebook about what we have been doing lately.
We are also supporting a record number of Democratic candidates running for township, city, school board, and Park District positions across the county. These candidates provide a diversity of perspectives and represent the values that we believe are needed to ensure that each resident of our county is heard and represented. We are eager to provide them with all the support that they need.
Help us fight for a better, fairer, and brighter future for Stephenson County!
Annual membership is $25.00 but many of our members choose to round up that amount when they submit their membership form. Membership runs from January through December. In addition to joining, this is also a great opportunity to make a significant difference in our ability to support local Democratic candidates.
As a member, there are many volunteer opportunities, committees, and issues to get involved in. We hope you will sign up to receive our emails and texts also. You can get questions answered also and have a real person call you by clicking on the button that says "Click Here". Thank you.
To give you an idea of what is possible...a gift of $250 will provide materials for a literature drop. A $500 gift will allow us to reach thousands of constituents through social media ad space. A gift of $1000 will provide 250 campaign signs. We would be grateful for a gift of any size.
