Casey Heneghan
Candidate for County Board District C - 2 yr term
Casey Heneghan is a wife and mother, youth advocate, and she is running for the County Board. She grew up on my family’s dairy farm and spent many summers showing our registered dairy cattle at county fairs. Casey graduated from Freeport High School and Augustana College. Her husband and her have a blended family with five kids.
Casey is the CEO of Norman C. Sleezer Youth Home in Freeport, which is a residential treatment program for teenage girls who have experienced significant trauma. She's also an assistant girl’s track coach at Freeport High School. She participated in sports growing up and She enjoys teaching children the value of being part of a team.
Casey served on the County Board from 2017-2024. During this time she built a reputation as an effective and knowledgeable board member, and she looks forward to the opportunity to serve my community once again. She is hoping to earn your vote on November 3rd!
