County Board Candidate for District I
My name is Ed Klein, and I’m running for the County Board. I’ve lived in Stephenson County for over forty years and raised my family near Lena. After they graduated, I moved closer to Freeport where I’ve lived for the last eighteen years. Over my career I farmed, was a school bus driver, and lastly, I owned and operated an auto and truck repair shop for twenty years.
In addition to my professional experience, volunteering has always been a part of my life. I have been active in Boy Scouts and church youth groups. My most recent volunteer role has been serving as President of the Board of Directors of Save the Tabernacle in Freeport.
